A Fulham roof replacement finished in Canadian natural slate, with the exposed junctions rebuilt to shed weather.
The walls were capped and new step flashings were added where the roof meets the wall.
Existing windows were retained. New flashings were installed around them, with the slates cut to follow the changing line between glass, wall and roof.

The finished bay window uses a wood-roll detail to control every hip and junction.
The video compares the finished bay window with the neighbouring roof after the old covering was removed and rebuilt.
Code 5 lead and the wood-roll detail create the folds and falls needed to move water away from the window and wall.

Ageing slates, poor ventilation and hidden defects seen from the roof—not the street.
This pre-purchase inspection found ageing fibre slates, vertical slating and leadwork that needed attention.
The flat roof had been coated over and was not properly vented. Damaged ridge tiles, chimney pointing and loose front guttering were also recorded.
The recommended approach was to strip the failing roof back, then rebuild the layers with boarding, a vapour barrier and insulation.
